Founded in 1997 with the mission to help Azerbaijani students access global education. For over two decades, we’ve advised thousands of students, parents, and educators—free of charge—and served as Azerbaijan’s main EducationUSA center for 17 years. With regional branches in Ganja and Sumqait, Lankaran, Mingecevir BEIC has grown into a nationally trusted name in international education.
Today, we partner with the British Council, Alumni Association (AAA), ICEF (International Consultants for Education and Fairs), EMA, BCCA and various study tour organizations and companies abroad.
We began by advising students on study abroad opportunities and soon expanded to administering more than 20 scholarship programs, ranging from high school to PhD and short-term studies. During this period, we joined EducationUSA as an official member and built strong partnerships with the British Council and DAAD Germany. To strengthen students’ English skills, we launched Conversation Clubs and became an official TOEFL testing center.
We also organized Azerbaijan’s first educational fair—an initiative that has grown into a tradition with 15 fairs to date—and opened education centers in Lankaran, Mingachevir, and Ganja. Alongside these milestones, we hosted events promoting language courses and study abroad programs, supported the launch of a Social Work Master’s Program at Baku State University in collaboration with Columbia University and Washington University in St. Louis, and translated and published four key books titled If You Want to Study in the USA.
Our commitment to broadening opportunities also included assisting students in enrolling at top boarding schools abroad, coordinating Salzburg Medical Seminars, and holding workshops and public lectures to inspire and inform. We further deepened our impact by joining the SOCAR Study Abroad Program and serving as a selection committee member.
This decade marked a period of growth and refinement. We coordinated the U.S. Embassy Resource Center and expanded our test preparation services to include GRE, GMAT, LSAT, IELTS, SAT, and TOEFL. To bring opportunities closer to students, we opened an Educational Center in Sumqayit and made our study abroad services more structured and comprehensive.
We also formed exclusive partnerships with leading summer schools in the UK, providing students with unique access to international learning experiences. Beyond direct student support, we contributed to the development of higher education in Azerbaijan by researching student participation at nine Baku universities and delivering recommendations to the Ministry of Education.
Our involvement in policy and quality standards grew as we monitored the Bologna Process in five universities and shared public recommendations, analyzed the new Education Law to suggest alignments with European standards, and studied quality assurance in Azerbaijani universities to propose practical solutions.
Since 2017, we have expanded our mission with new programs and broader outreach. We began exclusively organizing and leading summer and winter schools in Azerbaijan—a tradition we proudly continue each year—and launched regular university tours to the UK and USA, which remain part of our annual programs.
Our student placements have grown significantly, from 20+ destinations to over 30 countries, and we continue opening doors to new opportunities worldwide. To better prepare students for academic success, we introduced preparation for international tracks such as GCC, IB, A-Level, and AP, as well as English proficiency exams like Duolingo—all of which remain an active part of our services today.
Beyond education, we became deeply engaged in charity, environmental, and community initiatives, ensuring our impact extends beyond classrooms. We also strengthened our commitment to English language learning by becoming the main sponsor of the English Language Olympiad in partnership with ADA University—a collaboration that continues to thrive.
